School Event Fun Outside Classroom: Visiting English 1 Citra Raya Cikupa Learning is most fun when we try new things! Recently, our elementary students had an exciting outside class activity at English 1 Citra Raya, Cikupa, Tangerang. 1. Spelling Bee Challenge In the first activity, students joined the Spelling Bee Challenge. Guided by teachers and a native speaker, they listened carefully, practiced their pronunciation, and wrote down their answers with confidence. 2. Cooking Activity: Making Chocomisu Next was cooking time! The students learned how to make a tasty dessert called Chocomisu. They followed step-by-step instructions in English, worked together in teams, and enjoyed their delicious creation. A Roaring Celebration: Joy, Culture, and Laughter at Our 2026 Chinese New Year Event!
On Friday, February 27th, 2026, Rajendra Adhi Montessori School Terrace 9 was completely transformed into a vibrant sea of red and gold! From our Toddler and Kindergarten classes all the way to our Elementary students, the campus was buzzing with incredible excitement, happiness, and enthusiasm as we came together to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Seeing our beautiful students arrive in their stunning red outfits and traditional Cheongsams was just the beginning of a truly unforgettable morning! The Highlight of the Day: The Mesmerizing Barongsai! 🦁✨ If you had been in the room when the drums started beating, you would have felt the pure magic in the air! The absolute highlight for our students was the energetic and thrilling Barongsai (Lion Dance) performance. The children’s faces were priceless—eyes wide with wonder, followed by bursts of joyful laughter as the colorful lion danced around the room. The performers were so engaging, allowing our brave little ones to reach out, pet, and interact with the friendly lion. It was a beautiful moment of cultural immersion that left our students completely mesmerized and talking about it for the rest of the day! Seeing our beautiful students arrive in their stunning red outfits and traditional Cheongsams was just the beginning of a truly unforgettable morning! Creativity and Culture in Action 🎨🪭 Following the excitement of the lion dance, our students channeled their energy into making beautiful, hands-on lantern crafts. It was amazing to see children of all ages carefully putting together their bright red paper lanterns. The room was filled with proud smiles and excited chatter as they finished their creations! Seeing both the younger and older students eagerly hold their glowing red lanterns high in the air for group photos—with faces beaming with pride over what they had created—was an absolute joy and a beautiful picture of togetherness. The fun didn’t stop there! We were thrilled to partner with Dan+Dan to sponsor two fantastic competitions that showcased our students’ amazing talents: The Elementary Coloring Competition Our older students showed off their incredible focus and artistic creativity, bringing beautiful Lunar New Year scenes to life on paper! With their colorful pencils and crayons in hand, the children were deeply engrossed in shading their special Dan+Dan coloring sheets, carefully detailing every festive lantern and Barongsai. Once finished, their excitement bubbled over as they eagerly held up their vibrant masterpieces, flashing the brightest, most triumphant smiles for the camera in front of the Dan+Dan booth. The Kindergarten Fashion Show The runway was set, and our Kindergarteners completely stole the show! It was a colorful display full of adorable poses, bright smiles, and most importantly, soaring self-confidence. The crowd cheered as our little fashion idols strutted down the red carpet—some gracefully waving traditional paper fans, while others confidently struck cool poses in their red and gold outfits. We even had an adorable participant peek out from under a bright yellow lion dance costume with a huge grin! The children’s enthusiasm was simply contagious, making it a spectacular highlight of the day. More Than Just a Celebration The children giggling with the Barongsai, proudly holding their lanterns, and strutting down the runway, we are reminded of why we host these events. Every moment was a meaningful learning experience. We celebrated culture, boosted creativity, built immense confidence, and, most importantly, had so much fun together! We’ve got some major good news and big props to give! This week, our Grade 5 superstars absolutely crushed the National Assessment (ANBK). Seeing all those focused faces was seriously inspiring! What’s the Big Deal with the ANBK? The ANBK (or Asesmen Nasional Berbasis Komputer) isn’t like your typical test. It’s a national program designed to check how our school is doing in two main areas: literacy (reading and understanding) and numeracy (math skills). It’s NOT a test you can “pass” or “fail”—it’s just a way for the government to help schools improve, which means an even better learning experience for you! High Fives for Focus and Spirit! 🌟 We were so proud to see how the Grade 5 students handled the whole process. From the moment they logged in to the final click, they were filled with amazing energy and total confidence. Honestly, their spirit was contagious! It’s a huge step to sit for a national assessment, and they did it with such great enthusiasm and maturity. They truly showed us what it means to be ready for the next level. We threw open our doors for our annual Open House, and the day was nothing short of magical, all thanks to the wonderful families who joined us and brought the event to life! Thank you to every student, parent, and staff member who made our Open House last Saturday an overwhelming success! The day was a vibrant showcase of our school’s community spirit, filled with joy, engagement, and unforgettable moments. For those who joined us and those who couldn’t make it, here’s a recap of the day’s amazing highlights. Relive the Fun: A Recap of the Day What an incredible day we shared! The day kicked off with an incredible burst of energy as families joined together for a fantastic Zumba session! It was a wonderful sight to see parents and children dancing side-by-side, filling the air with laughter and setting a joyful, active tone for the rest of the day. The excitement continued on stage with spectacular dance performances from our talented students. Their smiles and enthusiasm were infectious! We also showcased our amazing extracurricular programs with exciting demonstrations from our Taekwondo and English clubs, giving everyone a glimpse into the diverse skills our students are learning. It was also a wonderful opportunity to see our students’ confidence and skills in action. The excitement carried on at our bustling bazaar, a hive of activity where families mingled, shopped, and enjoyed delicious treats. It was a perfect picture of our tight-knit community in action. But the fun didn’t stop there! The day was filled with even more laughter during our Family Competition. It was a heartwarming and hilarious spectacle of teamwork as parents and children joined forces in spirited games. Dive into the “Sea of Wonder”: Rajendra Adhi Montessori School’s Pop-Up Class for Young Explorers! The halls of RAM School were filled with the buzz of excitement and the joy of discovery on Saturday, 2nd August, as we hosted our special “Under the Sea” Pop-Up Class! Our youngest learners, from the Toddler Tots (1.5-3 years) to the Kiddy Club (3-5 years), embarked on a magical underwater adventure, and the day was brimming with laughter, learning, and creativity. For those who missed it, here’s a glimpse into the ocean of fun we had! A Splash of Sensory Fun Our journey began with a dive into the mesmerising Ocean Jelly Sensory Play. The looks of pure delight and concentration on the children’s faces were priceless as their little hands explored the cool, wobbly texture of the deep blue sea. The kids went crazy for our Ocean Jelly Sensory Play! We made a big, blue, wobbly “ocean” and hid sea animal toys inside. The children loved squishing the jelly and digging out the creatures. It was a super fun and messy way to learn and play! They scooped, squished, and discovered hidden treasures, a fantastic way to engage their senses and curiosity. Little Artists of the Ocean It was time to get creative! At the Under-the-Sea Painting and Art & Craft stations, our classrooms buzzed with artistic energy. Wearing adorable sea-creature headbands, each child became a mini-artist, bringing colourful fish, crabs, and sharks to life. Armed with paintbrushes and bright colours, they focused intently on their masterpieces, each one a unique treasure to take home and proudly display. The pride in their eyes as they showed off their finished work was the highlight of the day. Learning to Care for Our Oceans Beyond the fun, we also introduced an important lesson: keeping our oceans clean. Through a simple and engaging simulation, the children learned about the importance of protecting our marine life. It’s never too early to foster a sense of responsibility and care for our planet. The Thrill of the Mini Fishing Game The fun continued with our Mini Fishing Game, where our little explorers practiced their hand-eye coordination and patience. With tiny fishing nets, they tested their skills with a delightful mini fishing game. Leaning over the “ocean,” they showed incredible focus, their faces lighting up with each successful catch. They carefully caught colourful fish, learning and playing at the same time. The giggles and cheers with every successful catch were infectious! These simple games are powerful tools for developing fine motor skills in a fun, pressure-free environment. At RAM School, we believe that learning should be a joyful and immersive experience. Our “Under the Sea” Pop-Up Class was a perfect example of our philosophy in action: nurturing curiosity, building essential skills, and creating happy memories.
