We’ve got some major good news and big props to give! This week, our Grade 5 superstars absolutely crushed the National Assessment (ANBK). Seeing all those focused faces was seriously inspiring! What’s the Big Deal with the ANBK? The ANBK (or Asesmen Nasional Berbasis Komputer) isn’t like your typical test. It’s a national program designed to check how our school is doing in two main areas: literacy (reading and understanding) and numeracy (math skills).   It’s NOT a test you can “pass” or “fail”—it’s just a way for the government to help schools improve, which means an even better learning experience for you! High Fives for Focus and Spirit! 🌟 We were so proud to see how the Grade 5 students handled the whole process. From the moment they logged in to the final click, they were filled with amazing energy and total confidence. Honestly, their spirit was contagious! It’s a huge step to sit for a national assessment, and they did it with such great enthusiasm and maturity. They truly showed us what it means to be ready for the next level.  To all our Grade 5 students: You nailed it! Give yourselves a huge pat on the back. You make our school incredibly proud.

A Look Back at RAM School Spectacular Open House! Last Saturday, our school grounds were transformed into a vibrant festival of laughter, energy, and connection. We threw open our doors for our annual Open House, and the day was nothing short of magical, all thanks to the wonderful families who joined us and brought the event to life! Thank you to every student, parent, and staff member who made our Open House last Saturday an overwhelming success! The day was a vibrant showcase of our school’s community spirit, filled with joy, engagement, and unforgettable moments. For those who joined us and those who couldn’t make it, here’s a recap of the day’s amazing highlights. Relive the Fun: A Recap of the Day What an incredible day we shared! The day kicked off with an incredible burst of energy as families joined together for a fantastic Zumba session! It was a wonderful sight to see parents and children dancing side-by-side, filling the air with laughter and setting a joyful, active tone for the rest of the day. The excitement continued on stage with spectacular dance performances from our talented students. Their smiles and enthusiasm were infectious!  We also showcased our amazing extracurricular programs with exciting demonstrations from our Taekwondo and English clubs, giving everyone a glimpse into the diverse skills our students are learning. It was also a wonderful opportunity to see our students’ confidence and skills in action. The excitement carried on at our bustling bazaar, a hive of activity where families mingled, shopped, and enjoyed delicious treats. It was a perfect picture of our tight-knit community in action. But the fun didn’t stop there! The day was filled with even more laughter during our Family Competition. It was a heartwarming and hilarious spectacle of teamwork as parents and children joined forces in spirited games. From navigating obstacle courses with newspapers to working together to keep balloons afloat, the air was filled with cheers and pure, unadulterated joy. These moments truly captured the spirit of our community—playful, connected, and full of love. Meanwhile, friendly competition was in the air as children settled in for a coloring competition, showcasing incredible focus and creativity. Dive into the “Sea of Wonder”: Rajendra Adhi Montessori School’s Pop-Up Class for Young Explorers! The halls of RAM School were filled with the buzz of excitement and the joy of discovery on Saturday, 2nd August, as we hosted our special “Under the Sea” Pop-Up Class! Our youngest learners, from the Toddler Tots (1.5-3 years) to the Kiddy Club (3-5 years), embarked on a magical underwater adventure, and the day was brimming with laughter, learning, and creativity. For those who missed it, here’s a glimpse into the ocean of fun we had! A Splash of Sensory Fun Our journey began with a dive into the mesmerising Ocean Jelly Sensory Play. The looks of pure delight and concentration on the children’s faces were priceless as their little hands explored the cool, wobbly texture of the deep blue sea. The kids went crazy for our Ocean Jelly Sensory Play! We made a big, blue, wobbly “ocean” and hid sea animal toys inside. The children loved squishing the jelly and digging out the creatures. It was a super fun and messy way to learn and play! They scooped, squished, and discovered hidden treasures, a fantastic way to engage their senses and curiosity. Little Artists of the Ocean It was time to get creative! At the Under-the-Sea Painting and Art & Craft stations, our classrooms buzzed with artistic energy. Wearing adorable sea-creature headbands, each child became a mini-artist, bringing colourful fish, crabs, and sharks to life. Armed with paintbrushes and bright colours, they focused intently on their masterpieces, each one a unique treasure to take home and proudly display. The pride in their eyes as they showed off their finished work was the highlight of the day. Learning to Care for Our Oceans Beyond the fun, we also introduced an important lesson: keeping our oceans clean. Through a simple and engaging simulation, the children learned about the importance of protecting our marine life. It’s never too early to foster a sense of responsibility and care for our planet. The Thrill of the Mini Fishing Game The fun continued with our Mini Fishing Game, where our little explorers practiced their hand-eye coordination and patience. With tiny fishing nets, they tested their skills with a delightful mini fishing game. Leaning over the “ocean,” they showed incredible focus, their faces lighting up with each successful catch. They carefully caught colourful fish, learning and playing at the same time. The giggles and cheers with every successful catch were infectious! These simple games are powerful tools for developing fine motor skills in a fun, pressure-free environment. At RAM School, we believe that learning should be a joyful and immersive experience. Our “Under the Sea” Pop-Up Class was a perfect example of our philosophy in action: nurturing curiosity, building essential skills, and creating happy memories. Summer is here, and at Rajendra Adhi Montessori School, we believe learning should be an exciting journey filled with discovery and joy! Our Summer Class program is designed to do just that – provide a vibrant and enriching experience for our young learners, combining academic growth with thrilling real-world adventures. This year, our students embarked on two unforgettable excursions that truly showcased the spirit of hands-on learning and exploration. A Wild Encounter at Aviary Park! Our first grand adventure took our curious minds to the wonderful Aviary Park! It was a day brimming with excitement as our students got up close and personal with magnificent birds and learned about their fascinating world. From observing their vibrant plumage to understanding their habitats, every moment was a valuable lesson in nature appreciation and wildlife conservation. Imagine their delight as they had the incredible opportunity to feed some of the park’s residents! This direct interaction fostered a sense of responsibility and empathy towards animals, making abstract concepts come alive in a truly memorable way. Our students, equipped with their safari hats and beaming smiles, were true little explorers, soaking in every detail of this incredible outdoor classroom. Little Chefs in Action at Aeon Mall Ciputra! Our summer adventures didn’t stop at the Aviary Park! We also took our little explorers to Aeon Mall Ciputra for a unique culinary experience: sushi making! This hands-on activity was a fantastic way to introduce our students to different cultures and the art of food preparation. Donning their adorable hairnets and gloves, our young chefs eagerly gathered around the preparation stations. They learned about the different ingredients, from fluffy rice to colorful nori sheets, and with the guidance of experienced instructors, they carefully assembled their very own sushi rolls. This activity wasn’t just about making delicious food; it also enhanced their fine motor skills, encouraged teamwork, and sparked their creativity. The pride on their faces as they presented their culinary creations was truly priceless! More Summer Fun Under the Sun! Our Summer Class wasn’t just limited to these two exciting outings. Throughout the program, our students engaged in a variety of other enriching activities designed to foster their holistic development. Imagine them: Every day in our Summer Class is filled with opportunities for growth, discovery, and, most importantly, fun!
